The problem with Manny...oops I mean Mateo

Okay, first of all I absolutely loved Manny as a villian - even when they brought him back from the dead. That said, I really don't like the introduction of Father Mateo, Manny's twin and former pyschopath before deciding celibacy was the thing for him. I don't really care and as far as I can see there isn't a whole lot that they can do. Either way - making him truly good or evil - it is just a cliched move. Now I know that soaps aren't the most creative outlet, but still...where can they really go from here?
